Project Summary: I will be interning in the US tax division of Ernst & Young in Frankfurt, Germany.

How did W&L prepare you for this opportunity? W&L has prepared me for this internship in the German department and the Accounting department. Not only did W&L prepare me for the more technical parts of the internship that I will begin this summer, the university has also prepared me for the more psychological parts. I believe W&L has taught me confidence, which helped me throughout the application and interview process.

Why did you apply for this opportunity? I am very passionate about my two majors: German and Accounting. This internship was the perfect opportunity to gain real world experience in both of these topics. I also love traveling and wanted to go abroad at some point during my time in college.

How will this opportunity help you achieve your goals? I am hoping my internship will give me real world experience in the accounting industry. I also believe this opportunity will help improve my communication skills and overall confidence in working in an intense work environment.
