Washington Term Program
Pol 466: The Washington Term Program aims to enlarge students’ understanding of national politics and governance. Combining the practical experience of a Washington internship with academic study, it affords deeper insight into the processes and problems of government at the national level.
The W&L Washington Term Program is divided into three components: the academic course, the internship, and the lecture series. Students work four full days a week in their internship offices, and on Friday attend class and lectures. Wednesday evenings are also set aside for class activities.
