AICPA Scholarship for Minority Accounting Students
The AICPA Minority Scholarship awards outstanding minority students to encourage their selection of accounting as a major and their ultimate entry into the profession. Recipients receive individual awards of $5,000 per academic year. These outstanding students demonstrate exceptional academic achievement, leadership and commitment to pursuing the CPA.
Applicants must be an underrepresented minority in the accounting profession (including but not limited to: Black or African American; Hispanic or Latino; Native American; Pacific Islander; or Asian American); enrolled as a full-time undergraduate or graduate level student pursuing an undergraduate or graduate-level degree in an “accounting-related” major planning to pursue the CPA licensure; a U.S. citizen or permanent resident (green card holder) with some financial need.
