Opportunities for Seniors and/or Recent Graduates

The James Madison Graduate Fellowship is awarded to individuals desiring to become outstanding teachers of the American Constitution (American history, American government, or social studies) at the secondary school level.  Fellows are eligible for up to $24,000 in support for up to two years of study towards a qualifying master’s degree program.  In return, fellows agree to teach full time in a secondary school for at least one year after receiving their master’s degree.  In addition, Madison Fellows will attend a four-week summer institute on the history of the U.S. Constitution in Washington, D.C.

The R&A Ransome Scholarship provides funding for U.S. students entering a one-year postgraduate course (MLitt, MRes, MSc) at the University of St Andrews in Scotland.
Deadline:  February 28, 2017


The NCAA Postgraduate Scholarships are awarded to student-athletes who excel academically and athletically and who are in their final year of intercollegiate athletics competition.
Deadline:  Mid-February for winter sports
