Adobe Internships

As an Adobe intern for a summer, a semester, or an academic year, you’ll get paid to work side by side with some of the most talented professionals in the digital media and marketing space, make valuable contributions to business-critical projects, and leave better prepared to ace your academic pursuits.  Adobe internships include competitive salary and holiday pay, fun social events, chances to participate in community service projects, opportunities to make career contacts, and, as an added bonus, employee discounts on Adobe products.  Internships are offered at Adobe offices in San Jose and San Francisco, California; Seattle, Washington; Lehi, Utah; and other key areas around the world.

Alexander Graham Bell Association for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing

AG Bell  offers several scholarships for full-time students who have a pre-lingual bilateral hearing loss in the moderately-severe to profound range, use listening and spoken language, and who are pursuing a bachelors, masters or doctorate (not law or public policy) degree at an accredited mainstream college or university. This is a merit-based scholarship program and award selection is extremely competitive

Alexander von Humboldt Foundation German Chancellor Fellowship

The German Chancellor Fellowship allows recent university graduates to spend one year conducting a project of their design with the host of their choice in Germany. The project can be in any field, but should be research-based and create a positive social impact. Benefits include full financial support, a language course, and a study tour culminating with meeting Chancellor Angela Merkel.  German language proficiency is not required.

American Association of University Women (AAUW) Grants

The American Association of University Women (AAUW) has a long and distinguished history of advancing educational and professional opportunities for women in the United States and around the globe.  One of the world’s largest sources of funding for graduate women, AAUW provides funding for more than 245 fellowships and grants to outstanding women and nonprofit organizations.

Autry Fellowship

The Autry Fellowship is a competitive fellowship program for talented and ambitious recent college graduates. It provides an opportunity to work for one year as a full-time, paid staff member at MDC (originally known as “Manpower Development Corp.”). The Autry Fellowship supports the mission of MDC–to help organizations and communities in the South close the gaps that separate people from opportunity–by developing a cadre of young leaders who have experience promoting economic development, increasing equity and excellence in education, building inclusive civic cultures, and who are poised and ready to apply their new learning to benefit this region.

Bettis and Knolls Atomic Power Laboratory Summer Intern Programs

Each year, Bettis hires approximately 25 students for its summer intern program. Laboratory internships offer students a unique opportunity to participate in the important work done at Bettis and a chance to work with some of the finest technical people in the country.

Boren Scholarships and Fellowships

Boren Scholarships and Fellowships provide unique funding opportunities for U.S. undergraduate and graduate students to study abroad in world regions critical to U.S. interests, and underrepresented in study abroad, including Africa, Asia, Central and Eastern Europe, Eurasia, Latin America, and the Middle East.  Boren Scholars and Fellows represent a variety of academic backgrounds, but all are interested in studying less commonly taught languages.  In exchange for funding, recipients commit to working in the federal government for a minimum of one year.

Bridging Scholarships: Study Abroad in Japan

The American Association of Teachers of Japanese Bridging Project offers scholarships to American undergraduate students participating in study-abroad programs in Japan. Students receive a stipend to assist with the travel and living expenses they will incur while studying abroad in Japan for a semester or an academic year.  Students studying in Japan on summer programs are not eligible to apply.

Carnegie Endowment for International Peace/James C. Gaither Junior Fellows Program

Each year the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace offers one-year fellowships to uniquely qualified graduating seniors and individuals who have graduated during the past academic year. James C. Gaither Junior Fellows work as research assistants to the endowment’s senior associates – academics, former government officials, lawyers and journalists from around the world –  on a variety of international affairs issues.

Catholic Volunteer Network

Catholic Volunteer Network, established in 1963, is a non-profit membership organization of 215 domestic and international volunteer and lay mission programs.  Catholic Volunteer Network fosters and promotes full-time domestic and international faith-based volunteer service opportunities for people of all ages, backgrounds, and skills. They maintain a searchable database of volunteer opportunities.
