Public Allies

Public Allies is a 10-month, full-time AmeriCorps apprenticeship program that identifies talented young adults from diverse and under-represented backgrounds who have a passion to make a difference, and helps them turn that passion into a viable career path. Allies are placed in a full-time, paid apprenticeship with a local nonprofit organization.  

Rhodes Scholarship

The Rhodes Trust provides full financial support for Rhodes Scholars to pursue a degree or degrees at the University of Oxford in the United Kingdom.  Rhodes Scholars are chosen not only for their outstanding scholarly achievements, but for their character, commitment to others and to the common good, and for their potential for leadership in whatever domains their careers may lead.

SEO Career Program

Since 1980, SEO has provided underrepresented college students of color with paid, summer internships leading to full-time jobs.  SEO Career partners with industry-leading and global companies, prestigious investment banks and private equity firms, top-ranked corporate law firms and prominent nonprofits.  SEO Career also offers a pre-internship enrichment program called SEO-U to help underclassmen explore, identify, and prepare for their dream internship.

Silver Scholars Program (Yale School of Management)

The Silver Scholars Program is a unique opportunity for college seniors–from all disciplines–to earn an MBA in three years directly after graduation, spring-boarding them toward their career goals and leadership positions. The program is designed for exceptional students with strong leadership potential. These students enroll in our full-time two-year MBA program but rather than the traditional summer MBA internship, Silver Scholars complete a year-long internship, extending their experience to three years.

Skoll Scholarship (Oxford MBA)

The Skoll Scholarship is a competitive scholarship for incoming MBA students to the University of Oxford who pursue entrepreneurial solutions for urgent social and environmental challenges. The Scholarship provides funding and exclusive opportunities to meet with world-renowned entrepreneurs, thought leaders, and investors.

Soros Fellowships For New Americans

The Paul and Daisy Soros Fellowships for New Americans provide opportunities for continuing generations of able and accomplished New Americans to achieve leadership in their chosen fields. All applicants must be either resident aliens (e.g. hold a Green Card), naturalized U.S. citizens, or children of two parents who are both naturalized citizens.

Teaching Assistant Program in France

The Teaching Assistant Program in France offers the opportunity to work in France for 7 months, teaching English to French students of all ages. Each year, nearly 1,500 American citizens and permanent residents teach in public schools across all regions of metropolitan France and in the overseas departments of French Guiana, Guadeloupe, Martinique and Reunion.
