US-Brazil Exchange

The US-Brazil Consortium fosters university partnerships through the exchange of undergraduate and graduate students, faculty, and staff within the context of bilateral curricular development to increase cross-national education, training opportunities, and joint research in a wide range of academic and professional disciplines. Students benefit from having an international curriculum and cultural dimension added to their studies through a combination of bilateral curricular innovation and study abroad.

US-UK Fulbright Summer Institutes for US Undergraduates

The US-UK Fulbright Commission offers special Summer Institutes for US citizens to come to the UK. These summer programmes provide the opportunity for US undergraduates (aged over 18), with at least two years of undergraduate study left to complete, to come to the UK on a three, four, five or six week academic and cultural summer programme.

The USAID Donald M. Payne International Development Graduate Fellowship Program seeks to attract outstanding young people who are interested in pursuing careers in the Foreign Service of the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID).  For those who want to work on the front lines of some of the most pressing global challenges of our times — poverty, hunger, injustice, disease, environmental degradation, climate change, conflict and violent extremism – the Foreign Service of the U.S. Agency for International Development provides an opportunity to advance U.S. foreign policy interests and reflect the American people’s compassion and support of human dignity.

Venture for America

Villers Fellowship for Health Care Justice

The Villers Fellow works as a full-time policy analyst in Families USA’s Health Policy Department. The Fellowship is based in the Families USA office in Washington, D.C. and is designed to provide the Fellow with a national perspective on health care justice work and the opportunity to learn about a range of health care justice issues.

Virginia Foundation for Independent Colleges Scholarships

The Virginia Foundation for Independent Colleges (VFIC) is a consortium of 15 traditional private liberal arts colleges in Virginia.  One of the VFIC Member Institutions’ highest priority objectives is securing scholarships for deserving students.  A variety of opportunities are available for tuition and summer undergraduate research.

Virginia Program at Oxford

The Virginia Program at Oxford is a Washington and Lee-sponsored, interdisciplinary summer school program based in St. Anne’s College, Oxford University. The six-week program, which is open to students of any major after their first year, examines the history and literature of Renaissance England. Instruction follows the English system of higher education, combining daily lectures by renowned, British scholars with small, weekly tutorials.
