Villers Fellowship for Health Care Justice

The Villers Fellow works as a full-time policy analyst in Families USA’s Health Policy Department. The Fellowship is based in the Families USA office in Washington, D.C. and is designed to provide the Fellow with a national perspective on health care justice work and the opportunity to learn about a range of health care justice issues.

Virginia Commonwealth University Post-Baccalaureate Research Education Program (PREP)

The Virginia Commonwealth University Post-Baccalaureate Research Education Program (PREP) is a one-year bio-medical research training program for recent college graduates from underrepresented groups considering graduate-level training in the bio-medical sciences. The program provides scholars with a year-long, paid, mentored research experience. PREP Scholars have the opportunity to take graduate level courses and a GRE preparation course and also receive formal advice on selection of graduate programs, preparation of graduate school applications, and preparation for graduate school interviews.

Virginia Foundation for Independent Colleges Scholarships

The Virginia Foundation for Independent Colleges (VFIC) is a consortium of 15 traditional private liberal arts colleges in Virginia.  One of the VFIC Member Institutions’ highest priority objectives is securing scholarships for deserving students.  A variety of opportunities are available for tuition and summer undergraduate research.

Virginia Space Grant Consortium Commonwealth STEM Industry Internship Program (CSIIP)

The Commonwealth STEM Industry Internship Program (CSIIP) is an internship program managed by the Virginia Space Grant Consortium. CSIIP is an online program that serves as a vehicle linking Virginia’s undergraduate STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) majors to more than 100 companies throughout Virginia that are offering paid internship opportunities in STEM-related fields. CSIIP is funded by the Commonwealth of Virginia and is free to use for students, college career services, and participating companies.

Washington and Lee Post-Baccalaureate Fellowship in Digital Humanities

The W&L University library is hiring for a one-year post-baccalaureate position in Digital Humanities, starting in June 2018.

Washington Term Program

Pol 466:  The Washington Term Program aims to enlarge students’ understanding of national politics and governance. Combining the practical experience of a Washington internship with academic study, it affords deeper insight into the processes and problems of government at the national level.

Wellstone Fellowship for Social Justice

The Wellstone Fellowship is a one year fellowship at Families USA for people with a demonstrable passion for justice in the health care system who have experience working with and on behalf of low-income and other vulnerable constituencies, and who have a keen interest in health care policy. 

White House Fellows
